Australian Champion and Grand Champion
Australian Champion and Grand Champion are the highest show accolades available to our breeds. The MGBA would like to congratulate the breeders and owners of these animals – superior examples of the breeds, and their owners who have worked hard over many shows and years to achieve these elite titles.
APPLYING FOR AUSTRALIAN CHAMPION TITLE
To apply for a permanent Australian Champion Title your animal must meet the MGBA show Rules criteria for Australian Championship status. If you are not sure, get in touch with your state show rep with any questions. To apply, complete an Australian Champion Title Application and submit to your state Show Secretary. After checking, the show secretary will forward the submission to the MGBA Committee for consideration.
Remember, your animal must be over 3 years and completed adult grading. They must be within show height at the time of application. You can only count a maximum of 50 points earned under 2 years of age, and they will need to have been awarded at least one Best of Breed to qualify. Full point system is in the Show Rules.
